This unique and cosy retreat is ideal for families, couples or friends who want to combine the peace of the countryside with the proximity of both the beach and the city. Hoorn is only 10 minutes away, while vibrant Amsterdam can be reached within 30 minutes by car or train. With direct access to the beach just 150 metres from the house, you can truly enjoy the best of both worlds: a private, exclusive escape with endless opportunities for relaxation and adventure by the water.

The Beach House features four bedrooms with flexible sleeping arrangements, making it suitable for up to 8 guests. You will find romantic canopy beds, luxurious box spring comfort, and the option to separate beds where needed — perfect for families or groups of friends travelling together. For guests traveling with little ones, a baby bed is available upon request. The Beach House is a welcoming and family-friendly place, ensuring a comfortable stay for both parents and children.

The living room is decorated in the same beach-inspired tones and offers a cosy space together after a day at the beach, cycling, shopping or visiting museums. With comfortable lounge sofas, an open layout and plenty of room to relax, it is the perfect place to read, chat, or enjoy a Netflix movie on the 55-inch TV. The natural look of the furniture and décor makes this space a true eye-catcher.
TERRACE, GARDEN & SUNSET MOMENTS
Large sliding glass doors open completely onto the spacious terrace, allowing you to enjoy the morning sun as well as the golden evening light at sunset. The terrace is fully surrounded by bamboo, offering exceptional privacy — ideal for breakfast outdoors, relaxing under the parasols, or enjoying a cosy dinner in the fresh air. The private garden surrounding The Beach House provides endless opportunities to unwind, read a book, or simply enjoy nature.
FULLY EQUIPPED FOR A CAREFREE STAY
The Beach House is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and effortless holiday. The entire Beach House is situated entirely on the ground floor, making it especially convenient for older guests or visitors using a wheelchair. Step-free access ensures a comfortable and relaxing stay for everyone. The Beach House features a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. For added safety, a secure grab handle is installed in the shower. Fresh towels are provided, with plenty available for your stay. A fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher, spacious dining area and kitchen island makes preparing meals a pleasure. Of course... Many food delivery options are available as well. Additional amenities include two professional coffee machines, a large refrigerator, induction cooktops, washing machine and dryer, free Wi-Fi and Netflix.
BEACH, WATERSPORTS & FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Just steps away, the nearby beach offers a wonderful place to spend your time. Enjoy walking, swimming, sunbathing or exciting watersports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, waterskiing and e-foiling. Paddling is perfect for children, and a natural playground is located within walking distance. The water is calm and safe, as the lake is shallow and perfect for children and relaxed swimming. For food and drinks, Restaurant Oase is only a 5-minute walk away, with a sunny terrace and outdoor play area for kids.
LOCATION & DAY TRIPS
The Beach House is perfectly located just 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Enjoy the largest city beach of the Netherlands with great beach restaurants 5 to 10 minutes driving distance from The Beach House. Also nice to explore by bicycle, which can be arranged (just 15 minutes distance with electric bikes). There is a cozy café and restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance from The Beach House. You can find a small shop for all kind of luxury and healthy food and dairy. Furthermore city's nearby offers museums, harbours, shops, restaurants, cinemas, an ice rink and other beach pavilions. Popular day trips include Enkhuizen, Medemblik, Volendam, Edam, Monnickendam and the Zaanse Schans. The ferry to the Dutch Wadden Islands Texel or Terschelling can be reached within one hour.
ARRIVAL & PRIVATE PARKING
There is a private entrance and driveway to The Beach House. Parking is available for multiple cars, ensuring a smooth and comfortable arrival. The host will be available to welcome you at check-in, but if you'd like, you can also access the keys in the key locker with additional check-in details provided. *If you would like to bring your pet with you, please inform us to discuss the possibilities.
